Aruna Jagtiani
Chairperson

Born in Hyderabad-Sindh just before the partition of India,Aruna Jagtiani grew up in Bombay. She finished her schooling at Cathedral and John Connon School and acquired a bachelor's degree at Elphinstone College and a postgraduate diploma in journalism at K.C. College. She went on to work in The Express Group, Orient Longman Publishers and All India Radio, Bombay.

For over 50 years Aruna has volunteered with the Maharashtra State Women's Council, a nonprofit organisation for underprivileged women and children. She is on the board of the Sindhu Resettlement Corporation (S.R.C.) since 1978, formed by her father Bhai Pratap Dialdas for the building of Gandhidham & Adipur townships.
